BUILDING SAFETY CODES & AMENDMENTS
The following building safety codes and local amendments have been adopted by the Town of Marana. All new applications received on or after May 17, 2019 shall comply with the codes listed below. Submittals made prior to May 17, 2019 may continue to work from the previously adopted 2012 codes and amendments.
The codes are available for viewing at the public library or through the International Code Council online library and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Links are also provided below for your convenience.
2018 International Residential Code (IRC)
The IRC is a stand-alone code covering architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical requirements for One & Two Family Dwellings.
