From 04/04/2024 to 04/13/2023, the Lifeguarding program will train lifeguards to act with speed and confidence in emergency situations both in and out of the water. Topics include water rescue skills, surveillance and recognition, first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies, CPR, AED, and more. The new program reflects the latest Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) science.

Participants must be 15 years old on or before the last day of class.

Prerequisites for the training include a continuous 300-yard swim demonstrating breath control and rhythmic breathing, treading water for 2 minutes using only the legs, and a timed 10-pound brick retrieval, so please be prepared.
