Marana recognizes longest-serving Pima County Supervisor

MARANA- The Town of Marana issued a proclamation recognizing Sharon Bronson for her decades long career as a Pima County Supervisor.

Bronson was elected in 1996 and is the longest serving supervisor in Pima County’s history. She is also the first woman elected to represent District 3.

The Town is grateful for Bronson’s many contributions to Marana during her 27 years of public service. Among them, Supervisor Bronson most recently advocated for the contribution of $100,000 for fiscal year 2024 to the Marana Food Bank and Community Resource Center.

Bronson was not only an advocate for Marana, but a friend to Town Councilmembers, Town Staff and community members.

Bronson stepped down from her position last month.
