Marana Police Chief graduates from FBI National Academy

MARANA- Marana Police Chief Jeff Pridgett is the newest graduate of the FBI’s National Academy.

Chief Pridgett graduated as a member of the 288th session in Quantico, Virginia on December 7, 2023.

According to the FBI, the 288th session consisted of 198 law enforcement officers from 45 states and the District of Columbia. The class included men and women from agencies across 24 countries, four military organizations, and six federal civilian organizations. 

Nationally, less than one percent of officers have the opportunity to attend the program.

The FBI National Academy is internationally known for academic excellence. It offers ten weeks of advanced communication, leadership, and fitness training. Participants must have proven records as professionals within their agencies to attend. 

54,763 graduates have completed the FBI National Academy since it began in 1935.
