The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is working with the Town of Marana to reconstruct Dove Mountain Boulevard at the Moore Road Intersection to improve roadway safety.

The Town of Marana will be performing crack seal operations in the Gladden farms neighborhood beginning November 4th through November 29, 2024. Work hours will be 7AM-4PM.

WW Clyde will be installing new pathways, sidewalk, curb & gutter, as well as paving along Adonis Road between Mandarina Boulevard and Galleno Avenue beginning Monday October 28, 2024 through Friday November 29, 2024.

TEP will be working on power poles along Marana Road between Wentz Road and Sanders Road beginning Monday October 21st, 2024 through Tuesday November 5th, 2024.

Canyon Building and Design and Eagle Rock Excavating LLC will be repaving N. Rillito Village Trail in-between Calmat Drive and Eastbound I-10 frontage road beginning in the morning on Monday, October 21, 2024, through Wednesday evening October 23, 2024.

Southwest Gas will be installing a new gas main along Adonis Road near the intersections of Mandarina Boulevard and Adonis Road beginning Monday October 14, through Friday October 25, 2024.

Centurylink/Lumen will be working on cable splicing at the intersection of Ina Road and Silverbell Road on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.

Borderland Construction will be installing a utility line across Tangerine Road by Trico starting October 8, 2024.

Borderland Construction will be installing water lines along Avra Valley Road, starting at Air Commerce Drive and continuing approximately 1,000 ft east.  A lane shift and speed reduction will be in place from Friday, September 27, 2024, until Friday, October 11, 2024.

The Town of Marana will be removing and replacing a section of asphalt on Costco Drive at the Intersection of Costco Drive & Costco Place on Friday, September 27, 2024

The Town of Marana will be removing and replacing a section of asphalt on Marana Main Street at the Intersection of Marana Main Street & Grier Road. Work will start on September 30, 2024 and end on the same day.

Borderland Construction will be installing a utility line across Tangerine Road by Trico starting on September 16, 2024.

Tucson Electric Power will be installing new power lines starting Tuesday, September 17 2024,  through Wednesday, September 25 2024.

Borderland Construction is installing signal poles, mast arms, and crosswalks at Tangerine Road and Crossroads Trail beginning Monday, September 9, 2024, through Thursday, September 26, 2024.

The Town of Marana will be improving the sidewalk access ramps along Cortaro Road Between I-10 and Arizona Pavilions Drive, and at the intersection of Wade Road and Silverbell Road.

The Town of Marana will be completing routine maintenance to the Orange Grove Pump Station on September 5, 2024.

MTV General Contractors will be performing emergency pavement repairs on Monday, August 19, 2024.

Comcast is conducting an upgrade to the fiber network to enhance overall performance and reliability of services. The project will extend from N Dove Mountain Boulevard along N Dove Canyon Pass, ending at W Dove Canyon Place

Hunter Contracting will be performing roadway and drainage improvement work from Quarry Road to just East of White Stallion Drive. This work will require traffic to be shifted to the south which will begin on Sunday evening, August 11, 2024, and will last approximately 14 months.

Inline Construction will be performing emergency pavement repairs on Business Park Drive starting Thursday August 1, 2024 through Sunday August 4, 2024.

The Arizona Department of Transportation in collaboration with the town of Marana has initiated a project to reconstruct Dove Mountain Boulevard at the Moore Road intersection in Marana to improve roadway safety.

Ashton Contractors, on behalf of Tucson Electric Power, will be working on pavement restoration on Saguaro Peaks Boulevard on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Northbound Saguaro Peaks Boulevard will be closed at Twin Peaks, and traffic will be detoured to Saguaro Highlands Drive. Expect lane closures and traffic delays. This work is part of utility relocations related to the Twin Peaks Rattlesnake Pass road widening project.

Hunter Contracting, on behalf of Town of Marana, will be starting construction on the Twin Peaks Road, Rattlesnake Pass widening project. Work hours will be 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Construction is scheduled to take place from July 15, 2024, through August 30, 2026. 

Borderland Construction will begin construction soon of the joint utility trench – a trench where the electric and communications utilities will be installed along the south side of Tangerine Road within the limits of phase 2A. This work will begin the week of July 8, 2024.

A new and improved portion of the Chuck Huckelberry Loop between Twin Peaks Road and Wade McLean Neighborhood Park is now open to the public!

UPDATE 6/21/2024: Extended flagging hours-of-operations will take place at the Avra Valley Bridge from Tuesday, June 25, to Friday, June 28, from 9 AM to 1 PM.

Hunter Contracting, under contract with the Town of Marana’s Department of Public Works, is scheduled to begin construction on the Twin Peaks Road, Rattlesnake Pass widening project. Construction is scheduled to take place from July 2024 through August 2026. 

A portion of the Chuck Huckelberry Loop between Twin Peaks Road and Wade McLean Neighborhood Park will be temporarily closed due to construction work that is part of the Pima County Continental Ranch Regional Pump Station Project and loop improvements.
