The Town of Marana is preparing to welcome a new art installation in Downtown Marana. The Town Council-approved concept is a collaboration of the artist with multiple teams, including the Town Council, and is a marriage of the old and the new. The artwork, featuring a saguaro, a steer, and a man riding a horse, embodies the historically accurate culture of Marana, but is conceptualized with a modern design and material. In doing so, the Town of Marana honors the past, and gives a nod to the future.
