UPDATE RAIN DELAY: Work will now begin on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 due to rain in the forecast.
Metro Water District will be replacing a fire hydrant on the corner of North Thornydale Road and West Nightflower Place. Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The easternmost northbound lane will be merged to the center northbound lane during the project.
There is one shuttle type bus stop RTA # 412 that will be clearly marked with temporary signs and cones for continued use during the project. The sidewalk will be closed at this location during the project as well.
For your safety and that of the contractor’s personnel, please comply with traffic control devices, flagging personnel, and/or detour signs.
Travel time through the project area may increase during construction so please adjust your schedule accordingly. Construction may restrict traffic lanes and create congestion. Taking alternate routes is suggested.
If inclement weather or other events cause delays, the work may be rescheduled without further notice.
