ADOT Traffic alert: Overnight westbound I-10 lane restrictions

Plan for overnight westbound I-10 lane restrictions beginning June 9

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for overnight westbound lane restrictions on Interstate 10 in Tucson beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, June 9, as crews continue work on the I-10 reconstruction between Ruthrauff and Ina roads.

Motorists can expect:

  • Westbound I-10 to be restricted to one lane between Ruthrauff and Orange Grove roads from 9 p.m. Friday, June 9, to 5 a.m. Saturday, June 10, for a traffic switch on I-10.

  • Westbound traffic will be switched from mainline I-10 onto the frontage road between Sunset and Orange Grove roads beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, June 10. Traffic will stay in this configuration until late 2024. Access to all businesses will be maintained during construction.

Motorists should plan for delays, proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
