MARANA- The Town of Marana has been named as one of the 18 Best Places to Live in Arizona by an independent online search organization for travel.
Strategistico released the rankings this month and rated the cities on their affordability, cultural and entertainment amenities, quality of education, safety, parks and recreation and overall atmosphere.
The organization ranked the cities based on their data and feedback from locals.
Marana came in at number eight on the list. Strategistico acknowledged the town’s close proximity to Saguaro National Park and the Tortolita Mountains. The organization also highlighted our yearly festivals and the Marana Heritage River Park Splash Pad.
“Marana Town Council and staff strategically plan for a bright future that supports a high quality of life for the residents and businesses in town. It doesn’t surprise me that we have been recognized as one of the top places to live in Arizona,” said Curt Woody, Director of Economic Development.

Strategistico said they researched every city in the state with at least 1,000 residents and scored each city or town in the following categories to come up with the list of the top 18 cities.
