This morning, July 16, 2021, the Town of Marana Parks & Recreation Department held the official ribbon cutting ceremony for Honea Heights Neighborhood Park. The official opening of the park was in March 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a ceremony was delayed.
Parks Director Jim Conroy and Marana Mayor Ed Honea were among the speakers. A special thanks to Maria Voris from McGann & Associates, who designed the park, JR Durazo from Durazo Construction, who built the park, Project Manager Mac Murray, and Project Construction Inspector Gus Lipins.
