Maryvale Avenue and Chester Way, just north of Ruthrauff Road near Davis Avenue, are scheduled to close for up to one week starting Monday, May 24, for paving and concrete work.
During the closure, motorists will need to use an alternate route between Diamond Street and Ruthrauff Road.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
The work is part of the Interstate 10/Ruthrauff Road traffic interchange reconstruction project. More information about the project is available at azdot.gov/RuthrauffTI.
