Granite Construction will be implementing a dirt detour on Tangerine Road. This detour will be set up on Thursday, March 4, at 7:00 am and taken down on Friday, March 5, by 7:00 pm. They will set the detour back up on Monday, March 8, at 7:00 am and take it down on Tuesday, March 9, by 7:00 pm.
This detour will require traffic to get off to the south side of Tangerine Rd and travel in the dirt for approximately 700 ft to avoid the road tie in work. Traffic will flow in both directions as to not disrupt anyone or cause any unsafe stopping over the railroad tracks.
There will still be plenty of parking for ride share use on these days as well. Granite Construction will grade the area to create ease of access and egress of the traveling public through the detour, we will also have a water truck on standby if the road creates dust throughout the day.
