LOCATION: Adonis Road
The Town of Marana and its contractor, Clear Contracting Company, are reconstructing the roadways within the Adonis neighborhood including Adonis Road, Galleno Avenue, Warfield Circle, and Lettuce Lane. Additionally, a retention basin will be constructed along the southwest side of the subdivision. The purpose of the project is to improve the storm water surface drainage system, various segments of the water distribution system, and the existing condition of the paved roads. The project is currently scheduled to be completed in early 2021.
Construction crews will typically be present Monday through Friday, from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. During these hours, flagging operations will be implemented or directional signs and traffic control devices set up to detour vehicles around active work areas. As construction progresses in phases over the duration of the project, normal traffic patterns through the neighborhood will be affected and may be restricted to one way travel in certain areas in order to protect elements of the construction not yet ready for vehicles to be driven upon. Access to residences will be maintained at all times.
For your safety and that of the contractor’s personnel, please comply with traffic control devices, flagging personnel, and/or detour signs.
Travel time through the project area may increase during construction so please adjust your schedule accordingly. Construction may restrict traffic lanes and create congestion. Taking alternate routes is suggested.
If inclement weather or other events cause delays, the work may be rescheduled without further notice.
