The Town of Marana Parks & Recreation 10-Year Master Plan Draft is now available for review for the next 30 days before it goes to Marana Town Council on February 2, 2021 for review.
This Parks and Recreation Master Plan is intended to serve as a guide for the phased development and enhancement of the Town of Marana’s park system for the next decade. It takes inventory of the current park system resources, it considers and responds to the vision of the Marana community, and it charts a course for park system development.

10-YEAR MASTER PLAN IMPACT
The Town understands that the park system represents many things to many different people. As such, the master plan will address the future of park types to include Developed; active recreation parks; Natural resources parks and preserve; Linear parks and trail and Special use facilities such as pools, splash pads, and community centers. The Master Plan will also address Recreation Programs. High quality recreation and enrichment experiences are an important component of the community and Parks and Recreation Department’s mission. The Master Plan will review existing program offerings and identify new programs based on community input.
