Parks & Recreation Department staff conducted the first of three large public meetings regarding the “10 Year Parks & Rec Master Plan Process” on Thursday night at Wheeler Taft Library. The meeting was attended by an enthusiastic group of citizens who expressed an interest in a wide variety of recreation activities and park amenities. The meeting was also covered by local FOX TV Ch. 11 on the 9 p.m. News, local CBS Ch. 13 on the 10 p.m. News and local NBC Ch. 4 on the 10 p.m. News. The next Parks & Recreation Master Plan meeting is scheduled for next Wednesday, January 29th, at 6:00p.m., at the new MUSD Elementary School on Moore Road in Dove Mountain.
