Town of Marana Mayor Ed Honea received an award for 32 Years of Public Service by the League of Cities and Towns on Thursday, August 22. He contributes to a collective 118+ years of leadership by our current Council members combined.
Councilmember Roxanne Ziegler was recognized by the League for 16 years of service, and Councilmember David Bowen was recognized by the League for 8 years of service.

The League of Arizona Cities and Towns, a voluntary membership organization of the incorporated municipalities in Arizona, exists to provide vital services and tools to all its members, focusing principally on representing the interests of cities and towns before the legislature, and secondarily on providing technical and legal assistance, coordinating shared services and producing high quality conference and educational events.
